Problem

What words have two different synonymous meanings?
Show solution
list, roll: set of names (noun), tilt (verb)

Additional material

conserve, preserve [ Editor: synonyms as nouns and as verbs ]

Steve Summit also points out this pair which he spotted in the
homographs list: conserve/preserve. It's not as good as list/roll
because the senses are related, but they ARE synonyms, more or less,
both as nouns and as verbs. Call it a class B double synonym. :-)/2
