Problem

How do you get the silver dollar out of the yot, a metal puzzle that
looks like a top with a silver dollar in it?

Has anyone seen this metal puzzle?  It looks like a top with a silver
dollar in it.  Supposedly the dollar can come out if "one applies basic
principles of physics to it."

Show solution

Take hold of the knob and simply spin the yot.  The top will then come
out easily.

This spin can be done, without anyone noticing, as you place the yot in
your other hand.
